About Joshua Kersman
My name is Joshua Kersman. I have a passion for cars and photography. I was born in Michigan and raised in Florida. 3 years ago i had a conundrum, and had to decide what I wanted to do with my life. I had no idea much like many other at the time who were my age graduating from high-school. I spent a year after graduating figuring it out. I ended up changing my degree path 4 times. Turns out I didn't even need to look for a degree to find my passion. Just about 2 and a half years ago i had a thought. I opened up youtube and saw a video from man named Peter McKinnon. He specializes in photography and was recording a sponsored video for Canon. It was then that I just fell in love with the idea of turning individual moments into unforgettable pieces of art. I picked up a used Canon M50 and started shooting. I have always had a passion for cars but have never really been so mechanically inclined. However with photography i found where i belong in the car community. Capturing amazing moments of people with their classics or whatever car they may have. Now I spend most of my time finishing a media degree and shooting race cars at the track with every chance I can get. I am excited to find what opportunities are out there for me in 2025.

My work
To give you a brief explanation of my job, I am a freelance photographer using my knowledge in web-design and marketing to push my business outward. I shoot for Formula Drift under their USDriftCircuit Bracket tournaments. I Like to spend my weekends at Sebring International raceway and Daytona Speedway, constantly acquiring new connections and media positions. Outside of the racetrack I spend my time doing smaller jobs working with local places such as Cafe's and auto performance shops. Being a freelancer, I can make. my own schedule and set my own rates based on my skills. Not being stuck under an hourly pay rate from a low end company allows me to make working as hard as possible even more worth it.
